Helpful Suggestions

I have taken you on an interesting journey about the importance of taking care of yourself, so you can be there for the loved one that needs your help.  We first have to take care of ourselves before we can help someone else.  The Importance of a Standard Adjustable Bed for the caregiver; and all about the proper Hospital Bed for the physically challenged person in need of one of our special beds.  I know it can be confusing that is why I welcome you to contact me and I will be happy to advise you with the best options.

Learning how to work with a 5 motor bed; is as easy as pushing a button. Please refer to the Bed Technology page.

Here is additional information for either bed.

If you have an injury and find difficulty getting in and out of bed, are sick or very tired, try this. Elevate the head of the bed into a high position before you get into bed. Sit on the side of the bed; get your legs into bed, and raise the legs about 6 to keep you from sliding down.

Now lean against the back of the bed and relax, let the bed take you down to the proper sleeping position.  When you want out of the bed do the same thing and it makes things much easier and you are letting your bed help you, instead of fighting to find an easier way to get in and out of bed.

When it is time to change the sheets, raise the head and the foot of the bed up about 8 or 10, remove the existing sheets, and put the 4 corners (contour sheets) of your fresh sheets in place, than lower the bed flat, add the top sheet and comforter, and your bed is made.

You will find if you work with the bed and give it time, you will get used to a whole different way to enjoy your time in bed, reading, watching TV, working with a Laptop and finally sleeping.  Your body will know the difference the next morning and because you had a deep sleep, your day will be more energized and you will wonder why it took you so long to own an Adjustable Bed. Remember you never sleep in a flat position as our bodies are curved and not flat.  Therefore the bed must be raised at the head and foot so there is a bend in the bed and will support you when you sleep.

If you do not sleep, your body cannot heal.
